Shelves....for decorative purposes....but not for books. Ikea is jumping on this trend that is bound to erupt into monumental proportions. It's bound to happen. Soon we'll have coffee table made of digital technology allowing for e-coffee-table-books and who knows what else.

Why? Because Ikea is noticing that customers no longer buy them for books."
