John Locke Hits 1 Million on the Kindle

For anyone doubting the mass affect an ebook author can have, we introduce you to John Locke--the first independent publisher to sell 1 million ebooks. announced that John Locke has become the first self published author to sell over 1 million paid copies in the Kindle Store. As of June 19, Locke has sold 1,010,370 Kindle books using Kindle Direct Publishing. Locke joins Stieg Larsson, James Patterson, Nora Roberts, Charlaine Harris, Lee Child, Suzanne Collins and Michael Connelly in the Kindle Million Club.

Locke’s books include Vegas Moon, Wish List, and the New York Times bestselling e-book, Saving Rachel.
